The next meeting of the members of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association with the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vusal Khalilov, was held.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vusal Khalilov congratulated Edgar Abdullayev on his election as Chairman of the AzFina Board of Directors and wished the members of the Board of Directors success in their future activities. At the same time, Vusal Khalilov especially emphasized the successful activities of the former Chairman of the AzFina Board of Directors Ruslan Talibov and the members of the Board of Directors in the direction of the development of the fintech ecosystem of our country during the past period and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Central Bank.

During the meeting, the development trends of the fintech sector, open banking, QR payments, additional technological solutions that payment and electronic money organizations can provide, digital payment services for small and medium-sized businesses, cooperation with foreign payment organizations and economic entities, and other issues were discussed in detail.
