Revolut, a global fintech company founded by Nick Storonsky in 2015, has grown rapidly, offering customers payment services, credit and trading in stocks and cryptocurrencies, and is the UK's most valuable fintech company in 2021, valued at $33 billion. The company, which has 45 million customers worldwide, announced on July 25 that it has received a banking license with certain restrictions from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). Acquiring the license is an important step to accelerate Revolut's growth and advance its existing status. With this, Revolut has entered a new phase called "mobilization".
Nick Storonsky, CEO of Revolut, said: "We are very proud to have reached this important milestone in the company's life and we are confident that we will make Revolut the best bank for our customers."
